We had a First Grade Family Breakfast. Thank you to the parents who brought in breakfast items for us to enjoy together. We also played an icebreaker game where we tossed the beach ball around to see which number our thumb landed on. Each number had a special question to answer. We learned about each other's favorite color, food, and more.

Student Led Conference (SLC)
Students shared about all their learning since the beginning of their first grade year with their families. We are so proud of students for taking ownership of their learning and being able to articulate it to others. Being able to share what they know helps them to comprehend better and helps them practice for future Exhibition times.

HTMNC- Middle School Buddies High Tech middle school students came to visit us to share their storybook character inspired pumpkin. They also read the story aloud to our first graders. The students enjoyed the story with giggles and laughs. Afterwards, they had a question and comment time. Our first graders gave such kind and warm feedback about the pumpkin and the story. They even saw a connection with flight and shared it aloud. We look forward to more visits from the middle school students!
